For all the newbies who are asking..whatt ..how..Hmmmm......this was explained to me this way.....
Measure you a piece of card stock..4x6...draw your apron on it..till you get the shape you want...then cut it out. write pattern on it...use it with the rest of your card stock to cut out your aprons....do the same with the front paper of your apron..and again for the back if you are covering it...use glue sticks for paper to card stock..glue gun for heavier decorations..you can use sequins..ribbon..rick rack..ruffles..ect..there is no limit!! I hope this helps. Cindy

I can't wait to see what you girls come up with!! Sounds like fun!
ReplyDeleteHave a safe trip to Canton - I hope everything goes well with your Dad's surgery.
I totally didn't understand... duh! I thought you were making real aprons. I wondered how in the world can ONE person make so many. hehe I guess I didn't read closely enough! Have a blessed day dear Cindy! HUGS!
ReplyDeleteThanks Cindy! This is going to be fun! Hmmmmm.....wheels are definitely turning and you gave just enough guidance to know what to do.
ReplyDeleteHope your dad's surgery goes well. You and yours will be in our prayers.
Cindy....Yeah.... I made it! :) I was afraid I had waited too long to sign up! Mary Englebreit aprons....how fun!!!!!! I have to see what I can find that reminds me of her....I so wish she would come out with a scrapbooking line.....I know a lot of people that would love it!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you for having this!!!!! Sandy
Hey Cindy, I have some fabric with bowls of cherries that I'm using for inspiration. I think the swag will be awesome in my muddroom. I have a sign that says cherries right over the back door and I can somehow incorporate what I get with it.
ReplyDeleteBlessings on your trip and we should plan a trip to Canton with bloggers to shop together in the Fall.
Hope all goes well with your dad! I can't wait to get going on these!
ReplyDeleteSherry
Sorry I missed out on this one. I may just have to make one of my own. Such an adorable idea.
ReplyDeleteSo?? Let me see if I have this right??? The people in the ME apron group make 9 "paper aprons" apx. 4x6 inches in a Mary Engelbreit inspired look. They send them all to one person who then mails one of each off to the other participants?? Do you sign them with your name so you know who they come from? and then what happens?
ReplyDeleteObviously, I missed out on ths fun!
